The Catalan community at Stanford decided to create their own association to have a voice and more visibility at the university.
Being a minority and living overseas from my hometown, I understood the importance of creating a sense of belonging, while keeping your own identity.
I created a visual identity that keeps Stanford’s visual standards, while also representing the core values of Catalan culture.
Concept
The Redwood tree from Stanford’s mascot.
The trunk and roots represent Catalonia’s flag and its four stripes.
The circle represents an association.
